Drama in New Farm (In Progress)

Currently underway, this Brisbane residence will balance classical refinement with a theatrical contemporary spirit. Ornate plasterwork, panelled walls and marble fireplaces will provide an elegant backdrop for tailored furniture, sculptural lighting and a restrained palette of ivory, taupe, charcoal and burnished brass. Symmetry and tonal layering will bring calm to the formal rooms, while stone, antiqued mirror and warm accents will add depth.

The mood will become more atmospheric in the games and wine rooms, where dark timber, veined stone and low lighting will create intimate spaces for entertaining. By contrast, the kitchen and glass-framed sunroom will open to the subtropical garden, drawing Brisbane’s light and greenery into the home’s richly crafted interior.

The CGI renders show the concept designs.
