Sepia Stories

This home was conceived as a warm, personal backdrop for the clients’ art, family photographs and objects of significance. Walnut, olive and bronze create a softly nostalgic atmosphere, with rich timber panelling adding depth to the dining room and amber lighting fostering intimacy around the table.

Architectural fragments form a striking installation in the entrance hall, where pieces from different periods and origins create a natural visual dialogue. Within the living spaces, sculpture and artwork introduce moments of individuality without disrupting the warmth of the overall scheme. Patterned textiles, upholstered headboards and reflective furniture soften the bedrooms, creating a more intimate mood. Character emerges gradually through material, memory and detail, giving the residence the ease of a home shaped over time.
