With more than twenty years of experience across the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, Daniel brings an international perspective to residential interior design. Each commission begins with a close understanding of the client’s requirements and aspirations, responding to the property, setting and brief.
Our work is shaped by architecture, proportion, material quality and the way each client lives. From luxury renovations and new-build residences to furnishing, bespoke furniture and final installation, each project is developed as a complete interior, with close attention to craftsmanship, atmosphere and longevity.

He brings more than twenty years of experience across Los Angeles, London and Australia, including eleven years at Intarya in London as Creative Director and then Managing Director.

There is no house style. Each home is shaped by the Personal Design Code, Daniel's method for identifying what is distinctive about a client's taste, especially its contrasts, and turning it into design rules applied throughout the home. The aim is a home that could belong to no one else.

Daniel Kostiuc Interior Design designs luxury homes across Brisbane, including New Farm, Teneriffe, Fortitude Valley, Kangaroo Point, Hamilton, Ascot, Clayfield, Bulimba, Hawthorne, Paddington, Bardon, Ashgrove, St Lucia, Chelmer and Fig Tree Pocket. The studio also works on the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and in Noosa, and accepts select commissions interstate and internationally.

Both, as one continuous service. Daniel resolves the permanent elements of an interior, including layout, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting and finishes, together with the furniture, art and objects that complete each room.

Ideally before architectural plans are finalised, while proportions, lighting and services can still be shaped around how you live. Daniel also offers a pre-purchase consultation, assessing whether a Brisbane property can become the home you want before you buy.

Yes. Daniel works within existing project teams, developing the interiors alongside the architecture, so both share one direction. Where no builder has been appointed, he can recommend trusted builders and trades from his network.

Daniel Kostiuc Interior Design prices every commission individually in a written proposal, combining fixed and variable fees to suit the scale, complexity and stage of the project. Furniture, art and bespoke pieces are budgeted separately and approved by the client before anything is ordered.

Timing depends on many factors, including the scale and scope of the home, approvals, construction and supplier lead times. As a guide, designing a renovation or new build takes 8 to 16 weeks, and furnishing a finished home around 3 to 6 months. Custom European pieces can take 16 to 24 weeks, so they are ordered early and expedited through established systems to ensure timely delivery.

Yes. Daniel works with family offices, estate managers and personal assistants, and can oversee construction, deliveries and installation while clients are travelling or living abroad. Lines of approval are agreed at the outset.

Discretion is standard on every commission. Client identities, addresses and project details are never disclosed without consent; homes are photographed or published only with approval, and confidentiality agreements are available on request.
